Due to the changing conditions of Hurricane Florence, The Port of Virginia has modified it's previously announced closures. Please see the following updates to port operations:

NIT will not accept empty reefer movement – inbound or outbound – on Thursday, Sept. 13 NIT will receive and deliver loaded reefers on Thursday, Sept. 13 Cargo division operations will run “business as usual” at all terminals on Thursday, Sept. 13 (Out-of-Gauge, high and wide, etc.) The PPCY and RSA will be CLOSED on Thursday, Sept. 13 The Empty Return Matrix has been updated for Thursday, Sept. 13 (www.propassva.com) The PCY chassis yard will be OPEN on Thursday, Sept. 13 All terminal truck gates will operate on standard hours on Thursday, Sept. 13 TRS reservations are suspended – no reservations required – for Thursday, Sept. 13 Port administrative offices, including the World Trade Center HQ, will reopen on Thursday, Sept. 13 A decision regarding port operating and administrative status for Friday, Sept. 14, will be announced by midday on Thursday, Sept. 13
