At John S. Connor, we believe that continuing education is a responsibility to our customers and staff. We take this belief seriously, ensuring that key members of our company are engaging the latest industry practices to better serve our clients.
One important trade credentialing is the NASBITE Certified Global Business Certification (CGBP) which confirms knowledge in international trade and assures that employees are able to practice global business at the highest, professional level.
Our Business Development Manger, Steven Murphy, CGBP is deeply involved with the NCSBTDC team and take part in their annual bootcamps for people studying for the CGBP exam. This year, due to COVID they are producing a virtual bootcamp for the National program that will be available nationwide on the NASBITE website to download. (https://nasbite.org/)
Steven and the host engaged in discussions about Supply Chain Management, Documentation, CBP, and CTPAT. Steven provided materials that included real world, but redacted, Ocean BOL, HAWB and an Incoterms 2020 visual.
We are proud of the commitment that Steven, and other team members, have made in helping others achieve the highest standard of competency required to best serve our ever changing industry.
