The President-elect's administration recently indicated that it will allow the 301 tariffs against China to remain in place as we head into 2021. However, many of the tariff exclusions previously granted either have expired or will expire on December 31, 2020. The current administration has indicated it will allow all the exclusions to expire and will not put forward any replacements.
And while sources believe there is widespread support to reinstate the exclusion process, the incoming administration has not yet decided, citing a need to review the overall US-China trade relationship in general and in conjunction with other trade partners and programs.
Impacted and interested parties are forming a coalition to address the exclusion process with the incoming administration. If you would like additional information, please contact the John S Connor at firstname.lastname@example.org
