New Electronic Filing Requirements - All Importers Please Review

Effective January 25, 2021, CBP will require all Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) data to be filed electronically through ACE, CBP’s processing system. There are over 2000 subheadings that contain or may contain APHIS-CORE regulated products.

As a result, even if your company does not bring in merchandise solely of animal or plant material, your merchandise may still be affected by this program. A sample of impacted items that you may not consider under the APHIS umbrella:

● Tableware, boxes, pallets of wood

● Bags of vegetable material including rattan

● Artificial flowers, foliage and fruit

● Refillable & non-refillable stainless-steel keg

● Guitars

● Artificial Christmas trees

● Samples

● US Goods Returned

● Farm Machinery

The webinar is designed to highlight and educate the importing community with the key aspects of the new APHIS/ACE electronic reporting requirements including what information is required, which document contains the information required and your role as the importer to ensure that your shipments are cleared in a timely and efficient manner.
The cost of the webinar will be $25.00 per person or $50 per company and will be invoiced separately.
