German Port Strike Delays Departing Export Containers

2024-03-04T16:33:46-05:00July 14th, 2022|

German dockers confirmed they will begin a second-round strike in the key container ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, and Wilhelmshaven as wage negotiations with employers have not come to an agreement.

The dockers work stoppage will begin from 6.00 am CET, Thursday 14th July until 6.00 am CET Saturday, 16th July.

The strikes may cause delays in container availability at the Terminals and/or delays on departing export containers from any of the ports.

We will continue to monitor the situation and advise on any further developments.
