China Restrictions Announced

The Shenzhen Government just announced that all non-essential business has to work from home from March 14th to March 20th.

Residents are also not allowed to enter or exit, and all public transport is suspended.

In terms of port operations, everything is running as normal currently. However, it is expected that warehouse operations will be disrupted and air and container activities will slow due to closed factories and restrictions between cities in Guangdong province. We will keep you advised of any changes.

Shenzhen – Work from Home Arrangement from Mar 14th to Mar 20th

Shenzhen Warehouse – Yantian Free Trade Zone, Bonded warehouse closed from Mar 14 to 20. 3PL, LCL / consolidation services will be affected, no cargo gate in/ gate out to the warehouse during this period

Vessel Terminal – Yantian, Shekou, Da Chan Bay, Chiwan Terminal operations as normal

Airport – Shenzhen airport operation as normal

Container Depot – Some depots are closed, empty pick up may be affected

Trucking – Pick-up may continue to operate, but road restrictions may affect the pick-up. For example: Dayawan in Huizhou, Feng Gang, Da Lang, Chang ping in Dongguan
