The national association’s annual conference brought together more than 650 of the international trade industry’s top representatives from around the United States. For four days, industry professionals gathered with peers to share fruitful and educational experiences in the ever-changing landscape of supply chain and logistics.

Connor President, Butch Connor, participated in a panel discussion focused on the topic “What is the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Customs and Trade Compliance.”

NCBFAA represents more than 1,300 member companies with 110,000 employees in international trade – the nation’s leading freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transportation intermediaries (OTIs), NVOCCs and air cargo agents.

The Association’s members handle more than 97% of the entries for goods imported into the United States and are directly involved with the logistics of these goods. Further, members operating as OTIs are involved with approximately 80% of all exports from the United States.
